Roku TV not showing local channels

Jump to solution

Hello! I cannot access my local tv channels anymore. I have a digital antenna and could previously access them via a button on my menu page. It has since disappeared and could not see how to add it back. When I click the the Local TV option only shows the streaming channels.

Hi @skeenivn,

Greetings from the Roku Community!

We acknowledge your concern about the Roku TV not showing the local channels on your antenna. We're happy to help. To properly reboot your Roku TV, please try performing a system restart by going to Settings > System > Power (if this is not an option, kindly skip the step)> System Restart. After doing so, please try to re-scan the local channels by following the steps below:

  1. Connect the coaxial cable from your HDTV antenna to the “Ant/Cable In” connector on the back of your TV.
  2. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  3. Select Live TV.
  4. Follow the instructions on the TV screen to complete the setup.

Note: If Live TV is missing, you can add it by going to Settings > TV inputs > Live TV > Set up input.

For more information, check out this support article on how to set up and watch live TV on your Roku TV system.

We would recommend trying to see if that resolves your issue. Please keep us posted.

Best regards,
John
