Hi @am19,

Thanks for keeping us posted.

Have you tried using a different coaxial cable to see if the issue persists? Additionally, performing a system restart before searching for channels might resolve the problem. To do this, navigate to Settings > System > System Restart. After this step, kindly check to see if the issue persists.

Please let us know how it works, we'll further assist you with whatever goes.

All the best,
Kash

Hi @callbuddy,

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!
We understand that you're having a problem finding your antenna channels. Help is here. Please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure to connect the coaxial cable from your HDTV antenna to the "Ant/Cable In" connector on the back of your Roku TV.
  2. Turn on your Roku TV, go to home, and select antenna TV. If an antenna TV is missing, you can add it by going to settings > TV inputs > antenna TV > set up input.
  3. Follow the instructions on the TV screen to complete the setup. Depending on where you live, you may be able to receive free "over-the-air" TV broadcasts from nearby TV stations using an HDTV antenna. To access "over-the-air" broadcast television, the HDTV antenna must be connected to the antenna TV input of your Roku TV.

Check out this support article: How to set up the Antenna TV input on your Roku TV.
If the problem persists, please keep us posted on what you find out!

Best regards,

John

Hi John,

Thanks for your hopeful reply. Step 2 of your suggestion reads:

2. Turn on your Roku TV, go to home, and select antenna TV. If an antenna TV is missing, you can add it by going to settings > TV inputs > antenna TV > set up input.

Antenna TV is indeed missing on the choices in the Home menu. So I went to settings TV inputs, where I have the choices of HDMI 1, HDMI2, HDMI3 (ARC), AV, and Live TV. Antenna TV is not listed. Even if I choose one of the five choices listed and look through the options to rename them, Antenna TV is not one of the choices I have to rename them in this list.

If the choice for Antenna TV is not there, how can I choose it, follow the prompts and have it assist me in linking the channels with my television?

Yes, my antenna coaxial cable is and has been for two years, connected to the back of my television. I am  able to scan the channels from my antenna and they do show up for a short period of time in the Roku channel guide.

The problem that the other user and I are having is that after a few minutes, the antenna based channels mysteriously disappear from the Roku channel guide.

Yes, I've rescanned the channels from my antenna 7 times. (Hoping every time that this time those channels would somehow stay on the Roku list of channels. But alas, I am the fool.)

Yes, I've checked my software update: it says everything is up to date.

Can you help us find a solution?

Thank you.
