Purchased the Roku wall mount for my new 75 inch Roku Pro Series TV. Really great concept and pretty simple design. Looks like it would get the TV within 3/8 from the wall - perfect. Went to install the wall side plate last night. I want the TV centered on the wall. Marked the center, found the studs (it needs to be bolted into studs). Had a stud almost dead center to the mount. In most US homes the wall studs are on 16" centers. Guess what - wall mounted plate is only 24" wide. So 12" either side of center. WTF. Basically unusable unless you are lucky (I was not) or willing to move the TV location (I also was not). Given this thing is $120 and so nicely designed for the Roku TVs I am really annoyed. If there is someone at Roku reading this - please have whoever designed it contact me. Happy to explain the design issue. Also for reference I have posted several 1 star reviews so people know about the design flaw.

Did you read my post? I did check out that article. I chose the Roku mount (which I assume Roku appreciates). Problem is that the Roku mount is completely unusable on 16" centered studs if a stud is within +/- 4" of the center of the mount. The mount is only 24" wide - the wall plate side of it needs to be redesigned to be at least 34-36" wide.
