TCL Roku TV Softlocked on “Let’s get started” screen

Basically what the caption says. I lost the remote to the TCL Roku TV so I bought a new one so I proceeded to reset the TV as I had no way to connect to the internet or navigate the TV. I unplugged everything (yes even HDMI cables and USB), let it sat unplugged for around 5 minutes. Replugged everything in and the Roku simple remote won’t connect to the TV. I know it’s not a batteries issue because the Roku Express flashes when I press buttons on the remote. I reset the TV numerous times, I reset the remote by holding the back arrow and home button to see if it would do anything and nothing. I cannot connect to the internet as the remote will not connect to the TV at all. I have no idea what to do next I have pretty much tried almost everything possible. Need help. The remote is able to turn on the TV and that’s it.
