Onn roku wont stay on at all

Jump to solution

I went to uninstall HBO max and reinstall it. It was acting glitchy all day. I went to click on the app to open it and my TV shut off. It came back on but went right back off. I can't even get to the home screen, I don't think it can be fixed at this point. These people won't answer the phone either.

Hi @Xyz1245,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for letting us know about your trouble with the Max channel and the steps you took to resolve the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience this may caused.

Did you restart your Roku device before reinstalling the channel? That step is crucial when troubleshooting. If you haven't tried the suggested order (remove restart reinstall), we recommend giving it a shot again.

We also suggest restarting from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings System Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step) > System restart.

Also, can you confirm whether the issue occurs only on this specific channel or all the channels installed on your Roku device?

Please keep us posted on what you find out, and we'll continue assisting you from there.

All the best,
Chel
