When I hit *

And go to sound settings, it just shows an option called "Night" and no other settings are available.

I used to have a whole list of things I could adjust like bass, and sound mode and things related to my soundbar. Now, I have no options besides

"Night"

"Reset sound settings"

I've pressed both of those and it appears both options are broken and it does absolutely nothing.

Mine is doing the same thing. It has been since the new update came out. I have done all of the troubleshooting and still no luck.

Try changing the audio settings while playing a show or movie.

That is where it is messed up at.
