Audio cuts out with 4K 55" Roku tv and TCL S55H soundbar

About two weeks ago (two weeks after purchase and setup), the audio began cutting out. I didn't update the tv before the problem started. The duration and frequency of cutting out increases with use, even though the audio output always shows "eARC (TCL S55H)" as connected. I don't see any error messages, and the problem happens with every app that I try. 

I tried switching out the HDMI cables, unplugging both devices from power, checking the physical connections of both devices, turning menu volume from medium to off, turning sound from Dolby to auto, updating the software, checking the internet connection, doing a system restart, and selected auto as the digital output format.

Thanks for bringing to our attention that your Roku TV audio is cut out on every channel that you play using your TCL soundbar. We appreciate the troubleshooting steps that you have tried trying to fix the issue.

Before we proceed, could you please provide us with the exact model of your Roku TV? In the meantime, can you disconnect your TCL soundbar from the Roku TV and test if the issue persists while it is not connected?
