Today my tv did the exact same thing and I only had it for about 2 yrs and 4 months. I had my vizio tv for over 8 years and it was still working, but I wanted a more newer tv finally bought this one and it was good while it lasted. I do know one thing I will never buy another one of these tvs a waste of money.

im having the same issue with my 65 inch onn as well. no damage still has the **bleep** plastic on the screen. we can hear, but the screen is black, and every once in a while we can get it to turn on an show a picture. this is crazy. I have tried the unplugging an waiting but nothing.
Well I would try to take the back off try to clean the connections that plug into the motherboard I think it has to do a lot with the motherboard or connections that need to be cleaned I cleaned all the connections on mine and mine seem to work just fine sometimes you can get it to work by rubbing or pounding on the back to bring up the static electricity that might be helpful

Your TV and company is trash. I threw this Onn TV in the trash months ago and bought a Samsung from your competitors. I now do as much shopping as I can outside of Wal-Mart and I hope other people who got burned like us, do the same!!!
Hi
Im just about ready to throw that piece of **bleep** as well. I'm gonna try the suggestions an if that don't work I will be throwing it out.
I got the fix for it..very eazy its the capacitor on the power supply board ..its a 1$ part ...just remove the small back panel and remove the power supply board and unsolder the 10 uf 450v capacitor is located by the two small backlight plugins.
capacitor 10 uf 450v on amazon 10 pack $8.99 .. here's a little history about me I went to DeVry as a computer technician I was going to replace the board but after doing research my motherboard is an m04 and m06 is plentiful but m04 is rare so I decided to replace the part after exhausting myself on figuring out and tracking and locating what part is bad and what continues to go bad for all these other ones this will fix 95% of everybody's problem out here
