Horizontal lines on Roku TV screen

Jump to solution

Hi, @Davestrum

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Roku Community.

We see that you're having an issue with your Roku TV regarding horizontal lines on your screen, and we appreciate you for letting us know about this. This seems like a hardware-related issue that can be caused by loose or damaged connections, loose or faulty display connections are often the culprit of horizontal screen lines.

For this matter, you will be best assisted by your Roku TV manufacturer. If the brand of your TV is TCL, Hisense, Westinghouse, etc, kindly be guided on how to contact your TV manufacturer at Contacting Support for Your Roku TV.

Additionally, if you're having issues with a Roku-branded TV, which is manufactured directly by Roku, then please keep us posted and we'll assist you accordingly.

Best wishes,
Kash

I have a Roku branded TV and have a horizontal line across my 75 inch screen. Is there a solution or is this a poor product? This TV is 8 months old.

Welcome to the Roku Community, @ADarden!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We'd be happy to review your concern about the horizontal lines you're currently seeing on your Roku TV screen.

In order to narrow down the cause of the issue, we would appreciate it if you could share with us your device details such as follows:

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and current software version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)

We'll be looking forward to your response so that we can check this further and provide you with a swift resolution.

Best regards,
Carly

There's no fix. Roku replaced my set yesterday.
