Hisense Roku tv weird red pulsing light

Jump to solution

I know the red blinking light on a tv that won’t turn on is an error code but my blink is different than the ones I have read about.  It is one blink but in different intensities.  It comes on dimly then a second or two later gets brighter then goes back to dim and then off completely.

I’ve tried unplugging all night and holding the power button while unplugged.

is it dead or do I have any other steps to try?  Model number is M184761

Hi @maestroc,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for sharing the behavior you've encountered with your Hisense Roku TV, which has blinking lights, and for taking steps to resolve it.

Usually, the red blinking light means some sort of internal hardware issue. Have you tried contacting Hisense support yet to inquire further?

We'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support for their products running the Roku OS.
