Hi @Marksman,
We appreciate having you here in the Roku Community!
We understand that you are having issues with the Fox News app. We're happy to help.
Are you seeing any error messages when accessing this app? May we know if following the steps on how to resolve a channel playback issue will help you?
Also, is this a stand-alone channel? If so, we would recommend that you reach out to Fox News support directly for further assistance, as they are the best ones who could help you with their channel's functionality.
We hope this helps. You can keep us posted on what you find out.
All the best,
Janadee
I’m having the same issues I get the spinning 13% on two of my TVs but I have one TV that gets Fox News with no issues. All are recently purchased ROKU devices.
Hi, @tbirdjoel
Greetings, and welcome here to the Roku Community.
Thank you for contacting us and bringing to our attention the issue you are facing with the Fox News app. We understand how this affects your streaming experience, and we are here to help you resolve the problem.
If the issue persists after performing the provided troubleshooting step, you may want to contact the channel provider's support directly and inquire further about this issue for a workaround that needs an update on their end to resolve this since most channels on the Roku platform are designed and maintained by the channel providers themselves.
Best wishes,
Kash

Hi, @rocuucor
Thanks for reaching out to us for support, and welcome to the Roku Community.
We appreciate you for bringing this to our attention, and we'd be more than glad to assist. For this issue, we'd like to recommend the troubleshooting steps we have forwarded above this thread to resolve the issue at hand.
We hope that works.
Best wishes,
Kash
Kash,
If you read back through the history of this thread, you should note that a number of individuals have followed the "uninstall-restart-reinstall" steps without success. If Roku is unable to reproduce the problem with the information provided by a large pool of customers and the recommended troubleshooting steps are not producing positive results, then Roku should be engaging with the application developer (Fox News) directly rather than deflecting that responsibility to their customers. If the app is buggy on the Roku platforms and not on Amazon Fire platforms, then Roku would seem to be the failing variable. Either work with the app vendor to resolve the issue or stop allowing it to be installed on Roku devices. One will generate positive customer feelings, the other would at least eliminate customer dissatisfaction as there would be no expectation that the app would function.
Exact same issue. Roku's ONLY response ... contact Fox News. Yeah, that'll work. Useless.
CLEARLY THIS REMAINS AN ONGOING ISSUE. Here's a thought. How about ROKU CONTACTING FOX NEWS and maybe FIXING THIS ANNOYING PROBLEM. THAT would be ACTUAL assistance!!!
Maybe we all ditch Roku for another device, I use fire stick on my t.v. in Panama. No problems w it there
