Bluetooth Audio Dropouts – 55" Roku Pro Series 4K TV with Built-in Bluetooth
I successfully paired my AirPods Pro with the TV, but the audio keeps cutting out every few minutes. Some dropouts last just a second, while others extend to 3–5 seconds.
I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the AirPods multiple times, but the issue persists. The AirPods remain within 8–10 feet of the TV, and there are no other Bluetooth devices operating nearby.
When not using Bluetooth/private listening, the audio works perfectly. This is a brand-new TV, and the problem has been present since installation.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions or suggestions?

Re: Bluetooth Audio Dropouts – 55" Roku Pro Series 4K TV with Built-in Bluetooth
Hi @HazelQuick,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
If audio momentarily drops, stutters, or pops, or you continue to hear other audio issues, try the suggestions below.
- Check that your headphones are working properly by listening to them on another device.
- Stop and resume the movie or TV show you are watching.
- If you are using the Roku mobile app, turn Headphone Mode off and back on again. If restarting the Headphone Mode session like this does not work, close and reopen the Roku mobile app and try again.
- Restart your Roku device by unplugging the power cable, waiting a moment, and then reconnecting it.
- If possible, try a different pair of headphones.
Please keep us posted on what you find out.
Cheers,
The Roku Community Team
