Barcode Sticker Glue on Screen
Re: TCL 65” Class 4 Series 4K UHD HDR Roku Smart TV #65S41
Barcode sticker was NOT on protective packing film, the noisy plastic stuck on with really sticky clear tape.
Removed barcode sticker from polarized screen, sticky glue remains. Per TCL CS: “DO NOT remove TV film, use NO liquid on TV screen, to remove glue from barcode, use soft cloth only.”
Subsequent efforts to remove glue from barcode on polarized tv film have been fruitless. So, any other advice to remove barcode glue, or shall I just leave well enough alone?

Re: Barcode Sticker Glue on Screen
Goo Gone lightly sprayed onto the screen (or onto a cloth) of the TV off should help remove it. Spray it on, let it sit for a couple minutes (do not let it drip into the seams or anything like that), then use a soft cloth and it should wipe right off.
