Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
@Bigcbee Thanks for chiming in. This HAS to be a widespread issue and am hoping that Roku will rollout a software update to fix it. When I bought my 65" Roku Pro in December, this wasn't an issue. It wasn't until the January software update where this issue started happening. They should be able to fix it with a software update.

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
That’s good to hear. I sure hope they can fix it soon. I already gave away my old tv and bought the pro from Amazon. So I have no idea how a return works to Amazon, and I’m not looking forward to that if need be. Can you tell me how the brightness was before the update?

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that we’ve got a fix for the auto brightness issue on Roku TV coming soon! In the meantime, try rebooting your device as a temporary workaround. Just go to Settings > System > Power > System Restart.
Thanks for your patience!
Happy Streaming! 💜

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
Rebooting is the temporary fix we’ve all been reporting in this thread. When it’s off overnight, same issue all over again.
Looking forward to the fix you mention coming soon, thanks for that update!

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
Has the fix actually rolled out to anyone? The subject has been marked as solved but my Pro Series RokuTV is still having the issue and hasn't found the "coming soon" update.
Wondering if "coming soon" = weeks or months

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
I haven't seen any new update to my TV yet. I'm assuming they will roll it out with the next software update.

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
@RokuJharra-Q when is the update being released? It has been a couple weeks since you mentioned it and we haven't seen anything yet.
Really would like some proactive communication here with such an expensive product. I feel kind of dumb for buying this TV and being stuck with this basic issue for 3 months now.
And you shouldn't mark it solved so soon, a promise of a fix is not the same is actually having fixed it. That's deceptive to others who are browsing the forum.

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
@RokuJharra-Q still radio silence from you on when this is being released, to a customer that paid $1000+ for your product.
You guys make defective TV’s, I won’t be recommending Roku any of my friends, and I will be leaving a negative review to spread the word about this issue and how you’re trying to paper over it. This TV is a bad product, and nobody should buy it.

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
Yep. They don’t want to talk about it. I contacted them a few days ago via their support page on X, and they said my tv doesn’t even have an auto brightness feature. Complete joke.
On top of that Roku is having an insane sale on their pro tvs on Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. Makes you wonder if they are trying to get rid of them or a new version will be released.
