Hello. Lately (possibly since the last software update on 1/13), My TV (Roku Pro Series 65") goes to full brightness when powered on. Auto Brightness doesn't engage. The only fix that works for me is to perform a System Restart. Once I do the restart, auto brightness kicks in and everything is normal. By default, I always keep Auto Brightness on. This has only been an issue recently. I've had the TV since December 2024. This issue is occuring every time I power the TV off, then on again.
Current software version is 14.1.4, Build 7709.

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that we’ve got a fix for the auto brightness issue on Roku TV coming soon! In the meantime, try rebooting your device as a temporary workaround. Just go to Settings > System > Power > System Restart.
Thanks for your patience!

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
To add... When I do the System Reset to make auto brightness engage, then power off and on again, auto brightness still works. It appears that the issue returns after being powered off for several hours.

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
I have this same issue with my Roku 65” Pro series. It works once I perform a system reset, that is until the next time I turn off my tv.

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
Exact same issue. Roku Pro Series 75in. Very frustrating, the auto brightness is the whole reason I bought the tv.

Post your model, serial, and device numbers as well and maybe @RokuJohnB will help us out or provide an update on this issue. 🤷
