You can turn off the bandwidth saver by going to Settings > Network > Bandwidth saver > Off.

For the record I like this feature.

I've switched Bandwidth Saver to Off but it still displays the "we've paused your program" - are you still watching message.  During some longer movies this is a real PITA.  Is there anyway to stop this?

@woodduckthere is no Bandwith Saver Off it varies by app or program. That's what this whole mess is all about. All you get is we are looking into it. The gave us a code in the begging of this thread to send to them.

but when it asks you if your still watching press

the ok button. If you aint watching leave it at Home.

Hence, press the home button.

@boogernosedon't even have to do that. I work nights and leave the TV on. When I return in the am the HOME screen is on. Like I stated before there is no Bandwith Saver OFF

Mine does screwy things too.

Like turning itself back on when I know it was turned off.

Not all the time and it aint the end of the world.

I actually like the Aquarium screensaver

I have to ask: are you looking in the right place? I see Bandwidth Saver on all my Roku devices. It's under the network settings.

@atc98092  If you go to  "Settings > Network > Bandwidth saver > Off" and click that, it never really turns it "OFF" (so that you can run the TV indefinitely) it just prolongs the time the Roku is active and this can be anywhere between 4 and 8 hours. This can vary by Channel or App. I'm not interested in saving Bandwidth as I have many devices that run 24/7 such as weather reporting for NWS.

OK. I've never used mine that long without touching the remote, so there certainly may be an issue with it. Since 9.3 is going to be rolling out shortly, hopefully they've addressed it.
