50inch Philips Roku TV refuses to connect to my phone

Jump to solution

At first the TV was working fine with it, had no issues connecting and I did a system restart, made sure the setting were back to what I had and it hasn’t been working since. Screen mirroring, airplay, Home, nothing works for it, nothing that anyone’s recommended has worked either so wondering if someone’s got any recommendations, thanks!

Hi @mahakpr2,

Greetings from the Roku Community!

We acknowledge your concern about the Roku TV since it will not connect to your phone. We're happy to assist you further.

A Roku TV might not connect to your phone if they are not on the same Wi-Fi network if the "Control by mobile apps" setting is disabled on the Roku, if your phone's Bluetooth is off, if the Roku app needs to be updated, or if there are network connectivity issues between your phone and the Roku device; always double-check that both devices are on the same network and that the necessary features like screen mirroring or mobile control are enabled on the Roku settings.

For more information, you may check out this support article here on how to connect your phone to a Roku streaming device with the Roku mobile app.
