New to this: I don't see an icon or button for how to reply to a post, although HELP page says just hit REPLY. Where? Same deal for POST a MESSAGE. Surprised I got this far........
Well, you were able to successfully post a message, so it appears you figured that out. The reply button should appear at the bottom of each post in a thread. But I would imagine you must be logged in to the community before the reply button is available. Although come to think of it I believe I've had the reply button available even when my login had timed out (roughly two hours with no activity).
I wonder if Roku isn't locking particular discussions on purpose. I was surprised to see a Reply button on this discussion because there's a discussion where customers have been complaining for the past nearly 5 years that they have an ESPN+ subscription but Roku won't allow it to play without a TV provider. They responded saying to reach out to ESPN which helped no one since the issue is only present on the Roku device. There is no Reply button so I can't comment. So it must be intentional, kind of Rokus way of telling us to stop voicing issues we face because they won't fix it.

You are blaming Roku for something not under their control. ESPN+ is not available on the Roku platform. I just looked at their site, and it's only available on Apple and Android based devices. ESPN is available on Roku devices, but requires a TV subscription (satellite, cable or online provider). The Roku channel store description makes mention of also subscribing to ESPN+ but it appears you must have access to ESPN via a provider first. I admit the Roku app description doesn't make it very clear, but ESPN writes the description, not Roku.
Unless it just changed ESPN + is inside the ESPN app and works on Roku without a TV provider. Same as Apple and Android
@Travis7 I can not say for certain that ESPN+ will work without a TV provider, however I have been using ESPN+ on Roku devices without a problem for many years. I do have a TV provider but if I logout of that provider I can still access all ESPN+ content by logging in with MyDisney account credentials. ESPN does not make it as clear as I would like but ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN News, and ESPN 3 all require a TV provider that carries the ESPN family of networks. ESPN+ has few if any NFL games and very few top ranked NCAA football games. However ESPN+ has a great variety of games involving mid major football games each Saturday, along with soccer, women's volleyball, baseball, mid major basketball games etc...
To my knowledge there is no separate ESPN+ app on any platform. I access ESPN+ inside the ESPN app on my RokuTV, Roku Streaming Stick 4k, Apple TV, Samsung TV, and Chromecast with Google TV.
To further complicate things ESPN3 is only available on streaming devices and requires a TV provider. ESPN3 is not a part of ESPN+.
But there is no reply button. Only the thumbs up and kudos. Nothing else.

If there's no reply button, then the moderators have closed the thread for comments. That's usually done on older threads that are out of date. Since you replied to this thread, obviously the reply button was there in this thread.
