Roku hangs after last advertisement

Roku hangs after last advertisement - requiring backing out and resuming (following January code upgrade)
I see an issue from 2016 - but that was a long time ago

New issues seems to have started - Roku Channel hangs after last advertisement runs
Screen freezes - requiring backing out and then must resume episode
It happens about 95% of the time
(Logging in thru a smart TV and Roku channel)
If it makes a difference - I was specifically watching Bones seasons 11 and 12
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.

Have you checked other contents within The Roku Channel if the same issue occurs? 

In some cases, removing the affected channel and then reinstalling it helps. To ensure the process is successful, restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.
