Roku Channel Max not showing new Real Time Bill Maher episode 1 Season 23

I just subscribed in November 2024 to Max via The Roku Channel.  I have been successfully watching movies on Roku Max - it is a separate app on my Roku TV (there is Max which I no longer have)(and there is Roku Max same blue box as Max but says Roku).  
The main reason I subscribe to Max is to watch Real Time with Bill Maher.  Season 23 started this past Friday on January 17, 2025.  On REGULAR Max, I  just open the app, go to Real Time w Bill Maher and watch it.   I tried that with the Roku Max but it is only showing Season 22 and older seasons.  I tried and tried and finally somehow found it on Roku Max LIVE but missed the first 20+ minutes.  I thought, okay, maybe it will be available on Roku Max the next day but two days later, it is still not showing on Roku Max under Real Time With Bill Maher.  
I've googled and read Roku Community notes - they say to uninstall the app but there is NO OPTION to do that, only manage subscription which is about auto renew.  I have restarted the app.  

This is not a me problem this is a Roku Max problem (or, a Max and Roku problem).  Please advise why Roku Max does not have the most current episode of Real Time With Bill Maher available (Season 23, 2025, Episode 1) or advise on how to fix this?

The mobile Roku Channel app also does not allow for removal until subscription is over.  Part of the issue is that Roku support AND Max support as well as Roku Community and other Google search sites both all suggest as one of the first attempted fixes (of not being able to watch a current/just dropped episode of a particular series on Roku Channel supported Max but able to watch all other Max series current/just dropped episodes)  - is to UNINSTALL and REINSTALL the Roku Channel Max app - which isn't an option via PC or mobile app and will not ever be a FIX because you have to CANCEL the Roky Channel supported Max to even do that.  
No one is able to watch the current Just dropped episodes of Season 23 of Real Time With Bill Maher via Roku Channel (supported) Max - the problem will not be fixed by any un/re install of the app, this is completely clear now after spending HOURS talking with Roku Support tech and Max support  - literally neither of them have a CLUE why it is happening ONLY with Real Time With Bill Maher and each pointed the finger at the other.  I suspect this is something to do SPECIFICALLY with Real Time With Bill Maher itself - maybe THEY refuse to allow current season to be on any other app than MAX, i.e "real" original Max and not Roku Channel Max.  I do not have a provider so I have to get MAX by paying for a Prime Video membership.  With the version of Max via Prime - works perfectly, I can watch Season 23  real time with bill Maher episodes every Friday night at the time it drops.  With Roku Max  - nope.  
Roku Channel need to figure it out and have this as a caveat with their Roku Channel Supported Max - a "by the way" you may not be able to watch SOME current seasons of some Max series.  
If you don't watch Real Time With Bill Maher, Roku Channel Max should work fine for you.  If you do - ditch Roku Channel Max and use your provider to get Max or if no provider like me, you'll have to suck it up and pay for a Prime membership if you don't already.  This should not be that difficult for Roku/Max to answer honestly  about why current season of Real time With Bill Maher is NOT available.  Even when I asked for escalation, none of them had a clue why.

Unfortunately, after hour plus on the phone with Roku and no one being able to tell me why I could watch every other just dropped episode of other series except for Real Time With Bill Maher and telling me that I had to check with MAX and gave me the number - and then an hour with MAX who didn't have a clue why and said that I would have to call Roku (after me already telling them I had already spent hour plus with Roku).  Nobody had a clue and nobody could assure me of anything.  So, I canceled Roku MAX right then and there and now will have to pay a Prime Video membership plus 9.99 for Max - but that meant I could watch what I wanted immediately on demand without a single delay and no issue.  It is up to Roku to figure out the issue with Max; if there are certain series that will NOT drop when they drop on MAX, they should say that up front, otherwise it is simply bait and switch to imply Roku Max is exactly the same as MAX through other providers.  I'm very disappointed but will not go through Roku for Max again.  Everyone at Roku was nice but they ultimately were clueless and ultimately did  nothing to try to keep me around as a customer.

I can't get it on my Roku-supported Max either. Now, 3 weeks have passed. I can't even remove the Max app and reinstall it. I canceled auto-renew, and according to Roku information, it should show Remove App, but this option does not appear. Any other ideas? Why is this happening and why is this the only place I see reports of the problem and no viable solutions?

@DrRandyHester, "Remove app" won't show up until the current period of your subscription expires since you still have access until that date.  Try using the mobile app on your phone to remove it.  Use the search within the app to search for "Max" and there should be an option to remove it.  Keep in mind that removing an app doesn't affect the subscription.  I don't know if removing it and reinstalling it will affect the missing episode issue, but make sure after your remove it and before you reinstall it you perform a "System restart" from Settings->System or Settings->System->Power (as appropriate) or the remove/reinstall won't have any effect.
