I recently tried some premium channels using the low cost monthly subscription offering. All the channels showed up on the home screen as separate buttons, which was nice. But after unsubscribing from the channels, they did not go away from the home screen, which was annoying. I also had to remove them from each of my devices, instead of just one like other apps, which is even more annoying. Now the latest problem is the Starz channel through Roku button keeps coming back even though I am no longer subscribed. Any idea how to fix this so it quits showing up? Also please fix it so when the channels are removed from one device, they are removed from all.

Please note that if you wanted to remove the channel listed on your page, the subscription must first be canceled before the channel can be removed from your Roku device. For more information about removing channels on your Roku device, visit our Support page here: How to remove channels from your Roku® streaming device

This is still happening. I have even tried removing a reinstalling the Roku channel. Starz is the only premium channel that keeps reappearing.

Thanks for following up. 

Could you try to restart first your Roku device before removing the channel and see if it helps? We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > System restart.

I tried resetting a couple of my units and removed the Starz app on one. It was removed on all. This was on Saturday, today Wednesday the app showed back up.  Can someone at Roku go to my account and remove all traces of my ever purchasing the Starz app?

We can understand your concern that Starz through The Roku Channel keeps on appearing on your Roku device even after removing the channel. We'd like to take a closer look to see if there's anything else we can suggest to help.

Just to verify, how many Roku devices do you have linked to your Roku account? You can check the list of devices by signing in at my.roku.com and you may need to scroll down and locate the device under My linked devices

Please be aware that if a channel is added to one Roku device, it will add that channel to all Roku devices that are linked to that Roku account (as long as that Roku device is supported by the channel).

We also suggest creating a Roku PIN that allows you to control what can be purchased and what channels can be added to your Roku streaming device. For full information on this, you can take a look at this link: How to create, reset, find, or delete your PIN for your Roku account | Official Roku Support

Sorry to take a week to get back with you, I had another Roku issue popup on a unit that I was trying to troubleshoot. I'll start another thread for that issue. On this issue, I have 10 devices linked to this account. The Starz channel will come back every couple of days or so even after rebooting and removing on a couple of devices. I have even tried to unlink and then relink one of the devices. No matter which device I remove it from it will reappear on all units at sometime. The last thing I tried was to set a PIN on the account for loading new channels. That was two days ago and Starz showed back up this morning. The only thing that seems to work is to remove the Roku channel, which I would prefer not to make permanent. Let me know your thoughts.

This is still happening and is very frustrating. Can this be escalated up the chain to a person who can look at my account and see if there is some kinda flag set that says I have enrolled in Starz? Can you activate a free trail and I can try canceling it again?
