Recently bought a Roku Express 4K streaming device. Up until yesterday it was all working fine. We have a local Plex media server, and the Roku device was happily streaming programmes from it.
Today, every programme we have tried to watch (including programmes we have already watched successfully) have played a few minutes before cutting out to a black screen for a second or two before resuming. This was repeated at random intervals throughout the programme making it impossible to watch.

This leads me to the conclusion that the issue is with the latest Roku software update that arrived early this morning UK time (20th April, around 1am BST) as it is the only thing that is different between the old Roku Premiere device and the new Roku Express 4K device.
Please can someone from Roku confirm this is an issue and when will they be supplying a fix for their software.

EDIT: Now starting to get errors about HDCP as well. Not been able to capture the exact details yet but my partner has reported they have happened several times today whilst using the UKTV Play app. Not sure if all this is related to the latest Roku software update.

Managed to find a fix for this.
There's a setting on the Roku device - the Auto-adjust display refresh rate option was enabled and this seemed to cause Plex to stutter throughout the playback.
When set to disable the problem with Plex goes away.
But - was this option available prior to the latest software update? If it was, then I hadn't changed the value and Plex was working fine beforehand.
If it was added during the 11 software update, then does it have a default of "enabled"?
