Hi Community users,

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community regarding no sound after ads on Hulu!

We would be more than happy to look into this issue, and we'll need more information. Can you please provide us with the following information:

• Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version. (These can all be found in Settings > System > About.)
• Does this issue occur specifically on the Hulu channel? If so, what version/build is the channel? (This can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button.)
• Tracker ID when this issue occurs. (When you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID.)
• Steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing

Once we have this information, we will be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.

I have reset everything in this house multiple times the problem still is there and everything's up to date software wise.

Same issue as everyone else. Losing sound either when starting a show or when coming back from ads. Usually multiple times in one episode. Have to back out of show and press resume to get sound back.

Thank you!!! Fast forwarding for one second makes the volume come back! This was driving me completely nuts. I had been going back to the menu and restarting the episode, which often started all over from the beginning and I would have to fast-forward to where I was. I’m guessing it’s the fast-forwarding that was making it work again and not going back to the main menu. You’re awesome!

My Hulu is doing the same thing just on Fox live . It's so weird. Any advice on this?

I done this and my TV just powers off when I push home 5 times and back 5 times
