I just checked two in progress recordings tonight, and I can access them, so fingers crossed. The recordings might be working again (at least partially). I will check the common ones that caused me issues this weekend and post any updates.

I tried to do it, but was still not able to last night
also maybe a little off topic, but I thought maybe I could get a Spectrum HD box with DVR instead of using the Spectrum app on my Roku TV? I think it costs an extra $15 a month but maybe that would allow me to play programs that have recording in progress, without waiting for who knows how long for it to get fixed.
Also learning that the Roku remote is not very good for when you're playing back a recorded program on the spectrum app. It's very fast and has no skip feature . hoping the HD box might have a remote that you have more control of

Another test tonight and it worked again tonight. Doesn't mean it is 100 percent yet. I will test again this weekend.
The DVR boxes are not without their issues as well. They sometimes do the same thing and/or don't record properly or at all at times. I mean if you decide to go that route, it will supplement your cloud DVR but doesn't mean the box will not have issues as well. The boxes are a bit antiquated, and the reliability and limitations were the reasons I gave them up.
It is not the remote that is the problem with ff, it is the lack of the feature in the Spectrum app that Spectrum has not built into it yet. Xumo supposedly just got something like that in their app version, but I can't say how well it works. I would say that feature is not too far off to make an appearance on the other Spectum apps (Roku, Apple, etc...)

Just checked on an in progress recording this Saturday morning and it is still not functioning properly as I cannot view it. So, it looks to be hit and miss if the recordings are accessible.

We have always been able to watch shows that are in the process of recording prior to the past few weeks. I called Spectrum and also got the same reply that they are working on it and have no idea when it will be fixed. My husband realized that, like someone mentioned before, that he can watch recordings in progress on the spectrum tv app on his iPhone. I am wondering if you could just mirror your iPhone on your tv. Gonna try and see!🤞

While we wait for updates, please check for the app update. Simply tap on it, press the star * button on your Roku remote, and select Update Channel from the menu.

I was able to get it to work on Sunday and Monday! Recorded a game on each day and was able to watch the game while it was still recording . Maybe it's fixed!
