So what is the status of this issue now? Definitely a hassel not being able to watch programs currently being recorded. We've had this problem now for at least two weeks.

Still not fixed for me either. I haven't seen any more responses from Spectrum, but considering it took months the last time there was an issue with Cloud DVR, it does not surprise me. I suggest calling their customer service and complaining to them. I plan to do that again this weekend. As the old saying goes, the squeaky wheel, gets the grease.

I continue to have this problem also, but I no longer have the time to pursue the fix, because I am going in for a prostate biopsy in four days. Come on Spectrum! It can’t be that hard to fix!

It didn't work for me yesterday but worked today on a basketball game. I will check again tomorrow to see if they have fixed it, at least in my area anyways. Anyone else have any updates?

Spectrum posted in their forum that they are still working on the issue and have no estimated date of resolution yet, which is the canned response for we have no idea how to fix it, but maybe it will get fixed sometime in the future.

I found that if you go into the guide and select the program you may get a restart option that will launch the in progress recording. If you change channels you might not be able to restart again.

I appreciate you trying to help, but your link has nothing to do with the issue or can fix the issue. I spoke with Spectrum yesterday and Spectrum customer support has acknowledged that they have some technical issue with Cloud DVR and there is no timeline for a fix yet. There is currently nothing that the Spectrum end users can do to fix this particular cloud DVR issue.

I just did a chat with Spectrum customer support. They stated that on the cloud DVR on the Spectrum app, there is no way play the recording from my library until the recording is finished. Not sure if that is true from what I have been reading on this site. They told me to go to the program guide click on the program I am recording and then start from the beginning. However when you do this when you're recording a game of course you might see the score of the game which ruins it.
