Netflix app freezes all the time on Roku TCL TV

I’m ready to get a different tv. TCL Roku tv is good except for Netflix. If someone were to ask me if I would recommend the tv, I’d have to say no just because of this one issue. It’s annoying that I can’t even scroll the interface without it freezing up. When I play a tv show and go to rewind or fast forward to find where I was at, it freezes. Can’t press anything other than the home button to exit out and try all over again. Super frustrating! Only Netflix. All other streaming apps work flawlessly!

    To assist us in investigating this issue, can you please provide the details below:

    • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and OS version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
    • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID)
    • Channel build version (This can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button).
    • Photo or video referring to the issue.

    With more details, our team can review and work on the issue further.

  • Ju5tscream Try uninstalling the Netflix app, unplug the TV for 30 to 60 seconds are do a system restart, and then reinstall the app and see if that helps.  Also, check for any updates to the Roku/apps.
