More commercials than Hulu for same shows

I was considering watching McLeod's Daughters on Roku. When I started episode 1 of the first season, I noticed there would be 9 commercials. I checked on Hulu and for the exact same episode of the exact same season, Hulu only has 5 commercials. I choose Hulu.

Do you mean Hulu on Roku vs Hulu on a computer (or other platform) or Hulu on (something) vs The Roku Channel.

Hulu on computer and my Roku is on computer also.

OK, if Hulu on a Roku device had more ads than Hulu elsewhere, that would have interested me.  But I believe you mean The Roku Channel, and I don't watch that either, due to the ads.  Fortunately, there are many other channels on Roku.
