That is exactly what occurred: I paused my Roku long enough so the floating "Roku" screensaver appeared. I "unpaused" the "CBS" app and started getting an error about "concurrent streams limit" and I found this forum for help when searching the Web. When I restarted the "CBS" app, the concurrent streams limit error message no longer flashed over my content. Thanks!
I guess that is not a permanent fix as I was just streaming on the CBS app today and received the following that stopped playing my show until I clicked OK:
“Concurrent Streams Limit
You’ve reached the maximum number of simultaneous video streams for your account. To view this video, close the other videos you’re watching and try again.” (OK button)
Same issue. Just created account moments ago so no way it's been hacked.
Are they ever going to fix this bug?????
I had not let mine reach the screensaver; it indicated "concurrent" as soon a I opened the app.
Hi everyone!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
In some cases, removing the channel and then re-installing it may help. To ensure the process is successful, follow the steps below making sure you restart your Roku device before adding the channel again.
If you are still unable to play videos from one channel after attempting the suggestions above, videos from other channels play fine, contact the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help. Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developer themselves. There might be an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from them.
All the best,
Kariza
This did not fix the problem
I don’t know how to contact CBS support
