Not only is my continue watching list gone but the games on Power Play on demand are only there 2 days. They used to be up for 3 cays because I could watch the games that were blacked out in my area. I think it's a Disney problem. Disney, Roku and ESPN need to get together to fix this problem that the customer are dealing with.
Hi, @hbkat
Welcome to the Roku Community.
To ensure that we understand your concern, you have a concern regarding the continue-watching list and on-demand content of Disney+ with ESPN. Please provide the requested information above this thread so our team can investigate further.
In the meantime, you can reach out to the channel provider that provides the Power Play on-demand content since channel providers on Roku directly maintain their own app and content. Once acknowledged by their support team, they can provide a potential workaround or may update their app to resolve the issue.
Please keep us posted.
Best wishes,
Kash
Mine started over 3 weeks ago. After over an hour and a half on line chat with ESPN+ rep, they redirected me to ROKU saying it was an apparent build problem on their end because their app is up to date. Before calling ROKU, I did the standard unplug device and router, waited 5 minutes, replugged, checked updates on the ESPN+ app, deleted the app and re-installed it. All to no avail. After nearly an hour on the phone with the ROKU rep, and going through all the above steps again, still no success. The rep advised they would forward it to “The Team”, and they would look into it. They also said someone would contact me. Still waiting for that call. That was 3 weeks ago. Saw the function appear the other day for half a day, then, “poof”, gone again. I have to go to my computer to delete all the games from my list. Hopefully the next update will fix this annoying problem?
Hi @auggie8492aiu,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
Thank you for letting us know about the issue of your ESPN+ Continue Watching List. We are aware of this issue, and our Roku-appropriate team is already working on it. Please provide us with the details below so we can forward them to the appropriate team.
We look forward to your response.
Cheers,
Riamie
I noticed the same thing with the "Continue Watching" feature back a couple of nights ago. I watched an event for a couple of hours and when I backed out the feature was missing again. I exited out and re-opened the app a short time later and as soon as it loaded and I would start to scroll down the app would crash. It did this for every attempt after that so I stopped trying for the night. Last night, "Continue Watching" was back for a short time but then disappeared again. It would seem to make sense to just go back to the last previous version of the app that worked.
Hi, @voicedude
Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Roku Community.
We understand your concern regarding the Continue Watching that is removed from the ESPN+, and would crash randomly. Our team would like to request additional information for us to investigate this matter further.
Can you please provide the details asked by @RokuRiamie-D above this thread? Once gathered, our team will work on this and take the necessary steps to resolve it.
We hope for your response along with the details requested.
Best wishes,
Kash
I already provided those details previously. Nothing has changed. Please see above. Thank you.
We appreciate the reply, @voicedude
Got it. As of the moment, our team is still working on the issue.
In the meantime, we would recommend reaching out to ESPN+ support and letting them know about your concern to speed up the investigation since features like this are directly managed by the channel providers.
Thanks,
Kash
We contacted ESPN+ support 2 weeks ago (see post #1 above) and they indicated it's a Roku issue since the list is available on their mobile app which is correct.
I am having the same problem, missing the “Continue Watching” list on my TCL TV. I have two Samsung TV’s that both continue to have the “Continue Watching” option so as others have stated, this is clearly a Roku software/app Issue and not caused by ESPN.
Here is my TV information below as requested to assist with your troubleshooting process.
