No "TV Inputs" under Settings list; can't set up digital antenna to get broadcast channels

Jump to solution

We have a Samsung smart TV and use a Roku box to stream.  We'd like to use a digital antenna to get local channels.  When we click on "Live TV", we get lots of Roku channels.  Even after connecting the digital antenna, we get the same.  After looking at "help" videos, went to "Settings", but don't see "TV Inputs" listed there; the list is:

Network

Remotes & Devices

Theme

Display Type

Accessibility

Audio

Backdrops

Guest Mode

Home screen

Payment method

Apple Airplay and HomeKit

Legal Notices

Privacy Help

System

We tried going to "System", but nothing there was applicable.  Our son has a Roku TV, and "TV Inputs" shows on his list of Settings.  Please help!

A Roku player has no TV tuner, hence there's no way to view OTA channels with a Roku player. Only a Roku TV has a tuner. Your Samsung has a tuner and antenna connector for an outside antenna. You need to go into the Samsung settings menu, not the Roku settings, to find the menu to scan for OTA stations.
