New Roku Express 4K+ owner. I cannot add popular channels such as Roku, Disney+, Prime, Paramount+, Pluto, Max, Spectrum TV, et cetera. Apple TV+, and Netflix were preinstalled. I could add Bloomberg TV, and YouTube.
On the device, when logged into my account on the web at https://channelstore.roku.com/en-gb/browse , or in the iOS app I cannot add these desirable (to me) channels. I can add thousands of channels from around the world that I have never heard of.
I am in the continental USA with no VPN. The Add Channel button is greyed out on the web, and the channels I want never appear on the device or app after scrolling through thousands of, um, unique channel offerings. Oddly the Add Channel button is clickable when logged out. When clicked it has me log in, and then the add channel button is greyed out.
@Captiva, if you're in the US, something went wrong when you created your Roku account. Close the one you have and create a new one, but make sure you clear your browser cookies or use a private/incognito browser window when you create the account at https://my.roku.com . You'll have to factory reset your Roku device to link it to the new account.

For the record, the channel store links are language-region/browse. For example:
https://channelstore.roku.com/en-ot/browse
Cookies can totally screw up where Roku links take you.
Were you in the US when you created your account? I ask because the fact that you’re browsing the British channel store makes me think, perhaps not.
In any case, try scrolling down to the bottom right corner of the page, where is says United Kingdom (change) and try selecting United States. Maybe the website is just confused.
It was like two hours ago. Never been to England, but I kinda like Oasis. I will try your tip - thanks!
I select https://channelstore.roku.com/en-ot//en-us and I get
The requested URL //en-us/ was not found on this server.
I have tried two PCs and one MacBook Pro using all kinds of browsers with the same result. I wonder if my router is messing with me on roku.com.

Thanks for taking the time to help @renojim
I will give your nuclear option a go and report back.
