Hi I have the same issue with a ROKU 4k express when I looked on the BBC IPlayer approved list it doesn’t include this model only purchased it April this year; Sort it out ROKU asap
its not Roku, its the BBC. Please report the issue on the link i posted previously, will help us all.
Hi just went into check system software update and it said updating for BBC IPlayer and bingo it now works
This issue does indeed seem to be resolved with the new update, released this evening (7-6-2022).
Yup - just checked my 3820EU and it was updated ... and both iPlayer and Sounds now work again.

Thanks for your patience while this issue was being investigated.
We would recommend checking for a channel update by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button > Check for updates.
Once the channel is updated, try seeing if you able to access the channel again.

It would make sense for ROKU to take this issue up with the BBC, rather than stick us, the ROKU users, with the problem of doing it individually.
What is ROKU doing about it?

Seems to have done the trick. Thanks to Roku for getting this fix pushed through so quickly.
Ditto, just checked this morning (06:45) and it's now working. At least someone seems to have been on the ball last night!
