Video Doorbell not recording longer then 12 seconds

I am having this issue with my doorbell camera and seems this has been an issue since last year. I uninstall and reinstall app,I change settings and nothing. What the heck roku, do you even care?

Thank you for sharing your concern about the Roku your Roku Video doorbell that will only take 12 seconds duration in events recording. We would be more than willing to assist you with this concern.

Let's see if this will work for you.

  • Ensure that your Roku video doorbell and Roku Smart Home app is up to date
  • Reset your Roku vIdeo doorbell by following the steps below:
  1. Open the Home screen on your Roku Smart Home app
  2. Select your device
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Delete device

After your device is reset or deleted from the app, setup again the device. Please visit our Roku Support article: How to set up your Roku Wire-free Video Doorbell and Chime SE
