Roku Cameras not showing up on Camera channel

Jump to solution

I first installed floodlight without base saw picture on camera channel on the tv. Next day added a outdoor wireless se camera with base now I can't see either camera on tv says something went wrong please try again. Hit over and over not working.Could their be a conflict because the camera with base is plugged into the router while the flood light is directly installed through wifi no base.

Hello! @Whatithought,

Hey there. Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!

We appreciate you reaching out to us about your Roku cameras connecting to your TV. We are pleased to assist you.

The main cause of this would be that you are not logged into the same Roku account for both the Roku Smart Home mobile app and the Roku Streaming devices.

To set up your outdoor camera, the base station must be connected to your router using the included Ethernet cable. After you set up your base station using a wired connection, you can switch it to a Wi-Fi connection so that both of your Cameras and streaming devices are on the same network.

Thanks,
Arjiemar
