Not getting notified on Roku TV.

Hello we just got a Roku indoor SE camera to evaluate if we should replace all our Wyze cams and subscriptions. Mainly because we want the notification to pop up on the tv.

The smart home app is installed on TV and works when the app is manually opened and shows live view and events.  But we have never received a notification from the TV (phones work OK)  the TV  app is set to notify when a package is detected .  

One thing we noticed is that the camera has never identified a package event even though we walked in front of the camera with various size boxes.

1. Does package recognition work on indoor SE cam?

2. It looks like TV app only allows for package notification. Will person detection be added soon?
