Hi @bragg1,

A warm welcome here in the Roku Community!

We understand you are having a problem with the Roku camera since it will not connect to your mobile hotspot. We're happy to assist you further. Please be advised that you may not be able to connect a mobile hotspot on Roku smart home devices. To access your network and, ultimately, the internet, you will typically connect to a device called a router, which may also be referred to as a wireless router, wireless access point, home gateway, or cable modem. You will need to connect your Roku Smart Home device to the internet during the initial setup process. All smart home devices support a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection and some devices.

If there's anything else that we can do to assist you, please keep us posted.

Best regards,
John

does your hotspot have a 2.4 ghz wifi connection. if not then the camera cannot connect to it. i had the same issue a while back and i bought a cheap tp-link router from walmart that had a 2.4 and a 5g wifi connection and i was able to connect to it.

Hey, thanks for the info, but I have checked and double checked and everything is in order. I get to the wifi connection and it just won't work. The wifi icon keeps like flashing for lack of better words and it has a message saying that it will only work on a 2.4 network. It just doesn't work
