If you're trying to use your Roku device in a different region than you were in when you set up your Roku account you're going to have problems. Channel/app availability is tied to the region of your Roku account. If you move back and forth between the US and Canada often then it's best to have a US account and a Roku account. The only way to switch accounts on a Roku device is to factory reset it, so it's also more convenient to have two devices with one linked to the US account and the other linked to the Canada account. You'll find that many Canada apps won't work in the US and vice versa.
