@lillianwebb Customer support tend to answer in this forum or you can go to the customer support page and get agent assisted support via direct contact by private message. Your mileage may vary with that though. I do not believe that they provide live phone support for all issues.
@lillianwebb You could also try private messaging the Roku support staff that post here.
This is a lie. Going to Roku support DOES NOT give and option to chat with support. If it does it’s buried where it can’t be found.
This is straight from their support pages (see below) at the bottom of their contact us page. Like I said, your mileage may vary. They do tend to bury their support and you have to go through a bunch of hoops, more than you should to get assistance, technical or otherwise. I think they depend on this forum to help out with that a bit too much, but I am beginning to understand why only a few users choose to help out.
I don't have any affiliation with Roku, so I don't have any reason to make up anything.
I just pulled it up myself.
GO to the support contact us page, select Account/payments & subscriptions, Question about a charge...the page may directly offer the option or if it says something about no purchases associated, click on contact us for further support, it offers Chat with us or Talk to us between 4 am to 10 PM, which I assume is eastern standard time...so you can only access that between those times as it appears they do not offer 24 hour support.
I do not believe that they offer phone/chat support for all issues though.
Can't get to the espn we just paid for for the whole year
How did you pay for ESPN? Through Roku services, direct through ESPN, or through another service such as Hulu, etc???
Hi, @SAN4DEE.
Greetings from the Roku Community!
We appreciate you letting us know about having an issue accessing your subscription. We're here to help.
Which platform are you using to access the channel? Are you using the Roku channel or a standalone app?
If you’re having trouble signing in to an app or a subscription on your Roku device, start by determining what kind of subscription you have. The email and password you use to sign in to an app depend on how you sign up for a subscription or other paid content.
We hope you'll find this information helpful. Let us know if there's anything else we could further assist you.
Thanks,
Reynan
