Inherited Roku TV and registering it
My husband inherited a Roku Tv from his brother that passed. His brother had it registered in someone else’s name that I have no idea who it is. Can I change the name and register it to my husband? If so, how do I do that

Re: Inherited Roku TV and registering it
You could factory reset it and set it up like it was a new device.

Re: Inherited Roku TV and registering it
As indicated by @JWS9518 , you will need to Factory Reset it and create a new Roku account. (if this is your only Roku). If you have other Roku devices, you can just use use the same email address/Roku account after you factory reset it to "link" it to your other Roku devices.
Instructions for Factory Resetting can be found in this Support article https://support.roku.com/article/208757008
----
Can either press and hold Reset button for 15-30 seconds on a RokuTV, or go to Settings/System/Advanced System Settings/Factory Reset. Then just follow the on-screen instructions.
Roku accounts, setup, activation, and support are all free. Feel free to post back if need additional help or run into issues.
Just another Roku user... I am not a Roku employee.
