I cancelled my subscription to shudder, accidentally signed up for two subscriptions with the same service which broke the service long ago. This was some time last year, I was just checking to see if it worked now and reinstalled the app. It still does not work, I’d just like to remove the app now but the option to remove the app is not shown. When I press the “*” from the Home Screen I only get “move app, move app to top, restart app, manage subscriptions, check for updates, close”. I would just like to delete the app from my Roku.
@JayCeeC, it's been said that you can remove an app from your Roku account by using the Roku app on your phone. Hold your finger on the app to be removed for a few seconds and it should pop up options to Launch or Remove. I don't know if it will work in this case, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Hi @JayCeeC,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Please be advised that you may not be able to remove a channel if you still have an existing subscription; you'll need to cancel the subscription first. However, there are other options to take in removing a channel in this support article on how to remove channels from your Roku streaming device.
Please keep us posted on what you find out.
Regards,
Janadee
I do not have an existing subscription, I have two canceled subscriptions that never ever worked and shudder was zero help. I would prefer to not have to look at this terrible app at all. Please assist me with removing this app from my home screen. The option to uninstall is not shown when I press the “*” on my controller. I tried restarting the Roku to see if it would show up and it does not. What other options do I have? Why is support regarding shudder so terrible?
