I ordered a replacement remote as I thought I had misplaced the original remote. Then I found the old one before the new one was delivered and now I am trying to return the new unopened remote.
The mistake I made, without knowing that it was a mistake, was to complete the order without logging into my roku account.
When I was ordering the remote, I saw the options to sign in, continue as guest and paypal options. I chose paypal and completed the order and received the order details to my paypal's email address.
Now, I am not able to see the order details without logging into the account, and the order is not showing up in my account as I had not logged in when I ordered.
I have also tried customer service and they said they will only be able to pull up orders based on account's email address and not even with an order number. What kind of messed up order system is this, that I am allowed to order without an account, but not allowed to return it?
