Can’t Cancel Disney Plus Subscription

Jump to solution

I'm experiencing issues when I click on 'manage subscription' for DisneyPlus, it looks like it tries to punch me out to the disney plus account website but the page never loads. I tried going straight to the Disney Plus website outside of the Roku clickpath as well and am experiencing the same page load errors. Are there any other ways to cancel the subscription through our Roku account?

Hi @Enryan,

Thanks for the first post to the Roku Community!

We're sorry for the experience of having a hard time canceling your Disney Plus subscription. We'd like to know more about how we can help. Are you subscribed to Paramount Plus through Roku Pay or directly to the channel provider?

You can also check the charges on your account, and this link will help you: How to review your purchase history and charges to your Roku account.

Note that if a subscription is billed through Roku, there are two ways to cancel it. The first is via the website, and the second is directly on your TV screen. Here are the instructions on how to cancel a membership via the website:

  1. Sign in to your Roku account.
  2. Select Manage your subscriptions.
  3. Select the channel or subscription under Active Subscriptions.
  4. Select Turn off auto-renew.
  5. Choose a cancellation reason to complete the process and select Continue to cancel.

If you need the steps on how to cancel from your TV screen, visit this link: How to unsubscribe, cancel, or turn off auto-renew for a subscription.

Note: If you're billed directly by a subscription provider, such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and others, your billing relationship is with that provider, and you must contact them directly to cancel that subscription.

We hope this information helps you. Let us know if you still have any questions.

All the best,
Chel

I can’t seem to cancel my Disney+ subscription. The website is telling me to contact Disney directly but they are telling me they don’t see an account for me. I can’t seem to get into contact with Roku either. Can I get a number to reach someone to get this cancel before I cancel my entire Roku account? It shouldn’t be this difficult to reach someone and get something this minor resolved.
