Account was created on PC with VPN turned on, Roku believes I am in Canada but I live in USA

I can not add the Sling app to the Roku device or view Roku live TV  because Roku believes I live in Canada.

Is the only workaround to delete the account and reset my Roku device ?

Sorry, yep.  You should also clear your browser cookies or use a private/incognito browser window to make sure there's not some leftover information that can mess up the process.
