Spaceship screen keeps spinning

My roku went through an automatic software upgrade last night. Turned on TV this morning and the spaceship screen keeps spinning without progression to the apps. This happened before with another roku stick- which I replaced with this one. Are these just pieces of junk?

    So we can look into this more closely, would you mind sharing a few more details?

    • Roku device info: Software version, Device ID, and Serial Number (found in Settings > System > About).
    • Tracker ID Software version and build (press Home 5 times, then Back 5 times when the issue occurs)
    • A video or photo showing the issue would be helpful

    Yup same. Did the update and now it won’t work at all. Nothing has fixed it.

        Mine fixed itself after 20 min. If this is your update screen it really should say it.
