"Continue watching" shows things I'm not watching.
So every week or so my Roku app selects random shows from Netflix for me to "keep watching." I haven't found a solution that permanently takes care of the problem. Some important things to note here. I live alone, and there is only one device I use to watch shows. I am also home most of the time, as I'm physically disabled, so the chances of someone else using my account are very slim. I do not share my Roku login with anyone, I have tried factory resets and logged myself out of all other devices multiple times, and even changed the email and password on my account. This has not fixed the issue. I do not have a Netflix subscription and I haven't for months. I have never heard of nor watched any of the shows in question. When I remove them from the "continue watching" section they immediately reappear. The shows frequently change as if someone actually is watching them. The continue watching section never shows options from apps I actually watch shows on, like Hulu or Apple TV. It only shows shows I have never watched on a single service that I don't have. At this point I'm not sure how to stop this from happening and responses I've seen to people having similar issues have been extremely unhelpful. I would greatly appreciate someone actually reading this post and responding to the problem I have instead of linking me a help article I've already read dozens of times trying to fix it. It's kind of freaking me out at this point.1.2KViews3likes34CommentsComo quito "La mejor selección para ti"?
Hi, I started noticing this issue a few months ago. I have a Roku Express Model 3930RW software version 14.6. My TV is a Vizio, not a Roku TV. Just about everytime I wake my Roku up to watch something, it goes to the home screen with all the app thumbnails, and then all the thumbnails start "bouncing" up and down. It's hard to describe but imagine all the thumbnails in unison quickly move up about one thumbnail "height" and then respawn back in their original spot. This repeats maybe 2-3 times per second, enough to be vaguely nauseating. While this is happening there's no way to control the cursor/scroll through apps, however I can scroll through the side menu. Typically this lasts a minute or two, but sometimes up to 10 minutes and then it works as usual. It's rather frustrating. I couldn't find any other threads with this specific issue. This is NOT the same as the Roku logo bouncing problem. Any help is much appreciated. ThanksSolved86Views1like1CommentHome screen 'window lights'
Hello. I have been using a roku for nearly 15years (wow! I'm old!). I enjoy listening to JoyFM via a radio app, and so the screensaver scrolls across while listening. I have enjoyed the subtle differences and changes that the artists continue to create. The most recent change that I noticed is that several buildings have windows with lighting on a 'dimmer switch.' Going from brighter to softer, brighter to softer - on repeat. This catches my eye every time it passes. Even when not looking at the tv screen. I have seizures. I need a way to turn this feature off!! Please explain how to accomplish turning this flashing off.119Views1like5CommentsTCL Roku TV stuck on logo screen
TCL Roku 75" bought 11/15/2020. Worked perfectly this morning. Now it won't go past TCL Roku TV 4K HDR Screen. It restarts every 60 seconds. Status LED on bottom center of tv has slow steady blink while trying to start up. Already unplugged tv for over 5 minutes, same issue. Thanks in advance for any help!!!Solved111Views2likes2CommentsRoku TV has sound but shows a grey screen.
My 65 inch tv stopped working. I’ve had it less than 5 years. Everytime I try to turn it on it shows a grey screen. I’ll try to use the remote but can only hear the sounds of me clicking through the menu. I’ve tried checking the hardware, changing plugins, and letting it rest. It’s not connected to a wifi source. I’m hoping there’s a DIY fix because I can’t afford replacement parts. My warranty is out of range to try and return it. Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with it? I’d hate to take it into a shop and be charged the same price as the tv.Solved1.3KViews0likes4Comments
