Netflix automatically installing

Is there any way at all to stop my Phillips Roku TV from installing the Netflix app on its own?   99% of the time when I power on the TV it's back.  I immediately uninstall it (using * and "Remove").   Sure enough, next time I turn on the TV there it is again.

I do not have a Netflix account.  I won't have a Netflix account.  I don't want or need the app installed.

Roku v14.6 on a Phillips 65PFL4864/F7W.

    Hey! jeschuch

Your Netflix seems to have been installing automatically. Let's try checking things that might cause this.

    • Has someone in your family been using your Roku account on another Roku device/TV? If so, they could be installing the app on the other TV without your awareness.
    • When did you first notice this issue?
    • Is this the first time you have encountered this?

I am the only person in my house.

This has happened since I first bought the TV about a year and a half ago, although it was only rarely (maybe once a month or so).  Now it's daily.

No, not the first time, as noted above.

Thanks for the extra details! jeschuch

Just to narrow things down, this is the only app that keeps on reappearing, correct? Also, any troubleshooting steps you have tried aside from uninstalling the app?
