Roku Streaming Stick setup

I did a factory reset of my Roku Streaming Stick HD on my LG TV. Now when I turn on the TV, it goes to the LG home screen and I have to hit the home button on the Roku streaming stick to get to the Roku home screen. Is there anyway I can get the Roku home screen to come up when I turn the TV on?
There must be some setting that I messed up when I reset the streaming stick.

We noticed that you have an issue with the Roku Streaming Stick, as it will not direct to the Roku homescreen when turned on.

Here's what I can suggest: Please follow the steps below:

    1. Select Home on your Roku remote
    2. Press left on the directional pad and navigate to Settings
    3. Select System
    4. Select Control other devices
    5. Check 1-touch play if the box is unchecked
    6. Power cycle your Roku device (Home > Settings> System > Power (if that option  is not there, skip to the next step) > System restart)

When the TV is off, press the Home Button (or any other button other than the Power and Volume buttons), and see if your TV now powers on and goes to the Roku Home Screen.

The Power and Volume buttons are "TV controls" and do not have any affect on the Roku device.

You can enable '1-touch Play' on your Roku device (this will power on the TV, wake the Roku device, and switch to appropriate HDMI port simultaneously) by going to Settings/System/Control other Devices/1-touch play.  You will also need to verify that HDMI CEC control is enabled for your LG in the LG Settings (use your LG remote for that, not the Roku remote).  HDMI CEC for LG is called Simplink.

The above is the normal behavior of 1-touch play (a CEC feature).  If for some reason you were able to use the power button before to be on the Roku Home Screen, then check for HDMI preferences in the LG settings. (some TV models allow the preferred HDMI input when powered on).  Again, use the LG remote to access the TV settings.
