Live TV Channel Guide Incorrect for Antenna Channels

Live TV Guide now working properly for nearly the past week....thank you for fixing that.....it was jumping to the categories section instead of the actual grid, the fix made it as it should be, good job!

This problem still persists.....and has not been fixed for almost two weeks now, it was fine before whatever 'update' messed this all up...

...some maybe isolated to the Tampa Bay, Florida area, but I suspect same problem in many areas....

3.1 Correct (PBS Prime)

3.2 Correct (PBS World)

3.3 Correct  (The Florida Channel)

3.4 INCORRECT Icon/Logo/Listing, shows as PBS Prime, should be PBS EDQ

3.5 INCORRECT Icon/Logo/Listing, shows as PBS Prime again, should be PBS Kids

3.6 INCORRECT Icon/Logo/Listing, shows as PBS Prime once again, should be PBS Create

13.1 Correct (FOX Prime)

13.2 Correct (FOX Movies)

13.3 Correct (Buzzer Channel)

13.4 Correct (Heroes Channel)

13.6 INCORRECT Listing/Logo/Icon, shows as FOX Prime, should be FOX Weather

The following have had the station icons/logos missing or incorrect for the past couple months, this is not a big problem considering all the channel re-packs and changeovers recently (the schedule is correct on these channels however)

44.1 WTOG Tampa Bay (TB44) - Station Icon Missing/Incorrect

44.5 CATCHY - Station Icon Missing/Incorrect

49.3 LX - Station Icon Missing/Incorrect

50.3 GET TV - Station Icon Missing/Incorrect

....lastly, please offer a option to 'Turn Off' for 'Hide' the channels categories bar on the far left where it shows "All Channels" "Recommend" "Favorites" "Recents" "Movies" "News" ....many, well most of us do not care for this function and rather see it go away, it was never implemented correctly (there are hundreds of thousands of posts on other Roku Communities and other internet board about this issue.......

anyone else who has channels that I missed due to availability in my area, please add to this list....

Thank You!

Zip code is 33711, would also apply to other zip codes in the Tampa-St Petersburg-Clearwater Florida area.

Channel guide for antenna TV is showing the wrong information, such as CW information is showing on the CBS channel.

It was working then I had to perform a TV reset, and since then it has been messed up.  I tied uninstalling the love TV app and reinstalling it, same issue.  Tried another complete TV reset, same issue.  Tired changing the zip code to a nearby zip code, same issue.

    Software version: 12.5.0 build 4176-30

  • My Roku live tv channel guide is incorrect on Real Americas Voice. I’m watching Law and Border but the channel guide shows John Solomon’s show is on. Why isn’t it correct?

I have posted several times about my live tv channels guide being incorrect on certain channels and this has gone on for the past year now. I was getting replies saying it’s being further investigated or it was sent or forwarded to appropriate people but I have not seen a fix or gotten a reply since in months and my live tv channel guide on the 3 channels I watch mostly are still not showing the correct broadcasts. Please fix this I’m in California on pst time thanks

  • OTA station WXIX Fox 19 (Ch. 19.1) in Cincinnati, OH 45238 incorrectly shows up as Telemundo on both of my Roku TVs, and all the listings on the guide are Telemundo shows.  Bizzare.

Changing the zip code to neighboring 45205 and restarting my TV fixed my Telemundo-Fox problem, but if this thread is any indication, this is a widespread issue that seems like it needs to be remedied for many zip codes in numerous major metropolitan areas.

      Hi, Leevsiac

      Welcome to the Roku Community.

We understand that the LIve TV guide on your Home screen has incorrect information, and we would like to delve into this matter to investigate further.

To make sure that no troubleshooting steps are left undone, you may review the steps below:

To access “over-the-air” broadcast television, the HDTV antenna must be connected to the Live TV input of your TV.

      1. Connect the coaxial cable from your HDTV antenna to the “Ant/Cable In” connector on the back of your TV
      2. Press Home on your Roku remote
      3. Select Live TV
      4. Follow the instructions on the TV screen to complete the setup.

You will also see an option to re-scan the channels and you may proceed with that option.

Note: If Live TV is missing, you can add it by going to Settings > TV inputs > Live TV > Set up input.

For more information, see this support article: How to set up and watch live TV on your Roku TV system.

Please let us know what you find out.

      Best wishes,
      Kash

  • Roku streaming box 4k I have had live tv channel listings not accurate for many years now! I’ve wrote on this discussion multiple times well over 6 times in as many years as I have owned my Roku box. I write then randomly a tech or someone from Roku asks me to send in the error or trouble code with my issues and Roku information and then I hear nothing again from anyone except others having the same issues. I will never purchase another Roku device ever again and I will spread this information to EVERYONE I can to buy something else because if you can’t see or know what your watching and it’s always inaccurate why even use this platform! I’ve been hoping Roku could fix the program issue long ago but I keep finding myself writing on this community page and nothing gets resolved! Shame on you Roku I’ll go elsewhere!!
