How to watch Roku Channel shows and movies on my phone

Does roku have an app so we can see our list of channels and watch movies on our cell phone? If not, why not? Is this type of app in the works? I would pay a monthly fee if necessary.

Roku app wont connect to my TV

When trying to use my roku app, it shows my tv is on the network, but won't connect. I have tried manual connect but says the IP doesn't exist. I have reinstalled the app, i have done resets on the app and tv. Yes, I have the actual remote.

Can the Roku app connect without WiFi?

Basically what the title says. I’m at a college where they have two different WiFi signals for students. One for regular use and the other to connect consoles and things like Roku that don’t allow for username verification. I’ve tried to connect my phone to that WiFi network so that I can use the private listening on the Roku app, but my efforts have been in vain. Is there a different way to connect my phone to my Roku (like Bluetooth or something), or do they have to be on the same WiFi network? I have Roku Express 4K+ if that changes anything.

No option to access power button and volume key on The Roku mobile app

I've had this problem for a few months now. For the most part, I've given up and use the app, but unfortunately that doesn't control my TV volume. The thing is, I had been using this remote for at least a year, with no battery issues. I thought maybe my remote had a short, but there are too many people with the same issue. And no, I would not like to try to configure my router. The reason many of us choose Roku is because it is the EASIEST plug and play device. We aren't the type of users who generally mess with settings of devices which are difficult to access.

    Remote app doesn’t work anymore

App suddenly doesn’t connect anymore and tells me my device can’t be found. Sure, so I go Ahead and check my WiFi connected devices and yet their Roku is listed. Restarts phone. Restarts Roku. Restarts tv. Nothing works anymore. It just keeps saying there’s no connected devices and my device doesn’t exist. Worked fine for over a year with no issues, what the fck? I should be able to use the tv and stick I pay For!

Can't connect to Roku device on mobile app while using phone as hotspot

I'm having trouble connecting my brand new roku device to the mobile app. I suspect the issue comes from the fact I am using a mobile hotspot off my phone. I tried using the connect manually option with using the IP address off the device but it says that device doesn't exist on that IP (I triple checked that I typed everything correctly). I also tried all the basic fixes like restarting and unplugging the roku device, uninstalling the app, etc. I read a few posts here from several years ago talking about the same issue with noone knowing any tips on how to fix it but I'm hoping someone found a solution by now. I tried to get help from support but I don't think they were getting it. They kept telling me to just try using a different WiFi network

Screen mirroring from Android phone not working

I have read through the previous posts, but don't see any answer to the specific question. Hisense RokuTV 32A4NR, Motorola MOTO G Stylus with Android version 11. I am NOT trying to cast a specific APP but just use the native Screen Cast function of my Android phone to the Hisense Roku tv. YES, I am on the SAME wireless network, YES, both phone and tv are at the latest software, YES, I HAVE restarted both phone and tv. On the Roku tv I have: Settings-System-Screen Mirroring-Screen Mirroring Mode-Always Allow checked on. And Settings-System-Advanced System Settings-Device Connect-Enable 'Device Connect' checked on. When I try Screen Cast on my phone the Roku tv does not even show up in the available devices. I tried this on another Hisense tv, not Roku though, and it works flawlessly, being able to Screen Cast my main screen natively and then use any App on my phone.
