Stuck on “Let’s Get Started” Screen
A new Roku Express right out of the box is stuck on the “Let’s Get Started” screen. It won’t allow me to even select a language. I have tried on a different tv, using different hdmi cables in every hdmi port I have, I’ve tried 3 separate sets of batteries (all new), I’ve tried different power sources, and I’ve tried resetting multiple times. Copy settings to multiple devices
I've gone 'all-in' with Roku, and am setting up 6 devices (2 Roku TV's, 4 Roku Ultras, and 2 Streaming Stick+). Anyway, I've got everything working just great, but I was wondering if there was a way to 'copy' one devices settings and then 'paste' it into the other devices. I understand that credentials for pay services will need to be authorized on each one...no problem there. You should not have to screw up your Home menu to get this to work. I am having the same problem. When the TV turns off the Roku Ultra turns off. Then in a minute or two the LED comes back on and stays on. I don't like this because my TV setup is in my bedroom and I like it DARK and so do sleep professionals. Short of putting black, opaque tape over it, why doesn't Roku FIX IT?Solved11KViews4likes41Comments
Airplay Code is Not Accepted on iPhone
I just received a brand new streaming stick 4K. My airplay in settings is set to require code the first time only. When I try to connect my iPhone, it asks for the code on the screen. But when I enter it, it does not accept it and keeps asking me for the code. I have powered down the Roku stick and tried again, but the issue is still there. I have just purchased the Roku Streaming Stick 4K. However, nowhere on the packing does it mention the length of the streaming stick!! I cannot insert my streaming stick into my monitor as the stick is too long (I do not have enough 'hollowed out' area in the back of my monitor to insert it). It's a Samsung HD TV. The stick is a good half inch or so too long.... Also, Roku support is refusing to recognize the device serial number, so I cannot contact them????8.9KViews4likes3Comments
How to exit Roku back to cable??
So we must have accidentally pushed a button on our remote and now we are stuck on Roku streaming live TV. We prefer our cable provider, Spectrum, and their guide. We've tried pressing the home button, selecting source input (cable box or cable--neither seems to be it, though), and turning off the TV as instructed, but returning to live TV just takes us back to the Roku channel.
